Our Mission

We believe every Christian leader deserves access to the best thinking in the faith — without needing 40 hours a week to read.

The Story Behind The Scroll

The Scroll was born from a simple frustration: there are thousands of incredible Christian books, but the leaders who need them most — pastors, missionaries, small group leaders, parents — have the least amount of time to read them.

We watched friends in ministry pile up reading lists that grew faster than they could ever consume. We saw seminary students drowning in required reading, unable to explore the broader landscape of Christian thought. We saw lay leaders who wanted to grow but didn't know where to start.

So we asked a question: What if there was a way to encounter the wisdom of the best Christian books in just 15 minutes?

Not as a replacement for reading — but as a gateway. A way to survey the landscape, identify the books that deserve your deep attention, and still walk away with actionable insights even when you can't read the full text.

“Redeem Your Scroll”

Our name comes from a conviction: the time you spend scrolling can be redeemed.

We live in an age of infinite content and finite attention. The average person scrolls through hours of social media every day — and most of it leaves us more anxious, more distracted, and less wise than when we started.

“Redeem your scroll” is an invitation to take back those minutes. To trade the doom scroll for wisdom that lasts. To let 15 minutes with a great Christian book transform your thinking, your leadership, and your faith.

It's also a nod to the ancient scrolls — the original medium for Scripture and sacred wisdom. We're carrying that tradition forward into the digital age, one summary at a time.

What We Value

Depth Over Speed

We don't rush summaries to hit a quota. Every summary is carefully crafted by people who have actually read and studied the book.

Theological Breadth

We feature voices from across the Christian tradition — Reformed, Charismatic, Catholic, Orthodox, and everywhere in between.

Practical Application

Ideas without application are just trivia. Every summary includes tools for teaching, preaching, and group discussion.

Accessible Scholarship

We make complex theology understandable without dumbing it down. Sophisticated ideas deserve clear communication.
